As a photographer, I have come across several people who want to try their hand at modelling, or further efforts they have already made.

Some are or have been frustrated with agencies, the vast majority of which are based in the larger cities many miles away, with little

time for the West Country.  Here is your chance to showcase yourself and allow us to include you in our portfolio of local models,

available to local markets and those further afield. 

If you decide to join South Devon Models, you will appear here on this site as well as on a couple of large modelling sites.

I offer trial, half day and full day shoots. Trial shoot which will give you one high quality A4 print is approximately one hour. The charge for this is £25 including the print. Half day, with 3 A4 prints included is £75 or a full day, 4 x A4 and one A3 print (or 6 x A4)is £150.  There is currently (to 31st August) a 25% discount on all three options.   In all cases, a  Model Release will have to be signed;  this will not prevent you from marketing yourself. Any work you find yourself, is your business.  Any work we find for you, whatever form that is, will be subject to commission to South Devon Photography.   Percentage agreements will be drawn up if and when you join, subject to examination of images taken of you and your ability to model professionally.    When you join South Devon Models, you will have an agreement which specifies the type of work you are interested in and the limits you set yourself, which can be reviewed. You will detail the types of work, for example, whether you want to carry out any promotional work, which could be as basic as handing out leaflets, posing for another photographer on his or her project, or going away on a larger shoot.
